Amanda Bossard, fresh out from Anchorage High School, in the year 1992, began her studies in marine biology. Bossard began her career in the commercial seafood industry in the year 1999. In that year, she worked on Murat Aritan's 65 foot halibut vessel, transformed into a fish tender. Bossard is married to Aritan. They have now united and claim their respective industries. Both of them are in favour of conserving resources as well as maximizing profit. In 2007, the mother of two children Bella age three and Andre 1 Bossard then returning to living in Philadelphia and opened an online direct market wholesale distributor of seafood named Otolith. The husband of the business has a lengthy history in the fish industry, which often keeps them apart for five months or more. That's when they're focused on their environmental and financial goals. Bossard's daughters Isabella aged 12 and son Andre aged 10 visit each year for a visit to Southeast Alaska to work in the position of deckhand in the wild salmon season. Two months after fishing using hooks, lines and a 42-foot salmon trolling machine they joined Aritan and were sold local processors of seafood.
